Hi there! My name is Emily Gerhardt, and I am a small business consultant and project manager based in Chicago, IL. I am the owner of Your Idea Company, where I provide business consulting services, project management, process design, business strategy, revenue stream development, and implementation services for small independently owned businesses.

In addition, I am also the Director of Operations for a catering and meal prep start-up, where I head sales and client services, and manage end-to-end event management, logistics, staffing, timing, food service, front + back of house operations, event inventory management, cost estimates, and ROI analysis.

I also serve as an Operational Applications Manager at a major healthcare company, overseeing and managing software programs used by 6,700+ field workers and leaders, manage projects on process improvement, integrations, and implementation across the platform, and perform routine site visits to maintain visibility with the field and report results of initiatives to key stakeholders.

Prior to these roles, I also served as a Patient Experience Specialist, where I grew a leading healthcare company by opening and operationalizing 19 centers in 5 years across a major metropolitan market, increased company profit by +$150k/week (+20%) through designing and re-training all administrative staff patient account collections, proposed and piloted QR Code Initiative increasing region Google Reviews by +38% in 2 months, and organized and hosted meetings for the region to review overall performance, collaborated on corrective action in underperforming areas, and educated teams on new rollouts.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Psychology from Elmhurst University, where I also served as the President of Elmhurst Queers and Allies, Coordinator of Education & Advocacy at Habitat for Humanity, and National Leadership Conference Attendee at LeaderShape Institute.
